A Studio for Heavy-Duty Design

Pennie Works Studio is north-central Oklahoma’s professional creative agency specializing in work for start-ups, nonprofits, and small businesses. Our work spans many disciplines but the goal is the same — design for your success. From branding marks to web and social media, from advertising to publishing and print, we’re up to the challenge.

At the Studio we practices its own unique approach to the work. By keeping things focused on the why and the how, Pennie Works offers design that strengthens the client’s purpose, not constrains it. The mission is to see the client succeed and working hard to make their enterprise successful through strategic, effective, and heavy-duty design.

We start by asking questions. Listening and learning follow. The process ends with effective creative work. In between is a conversation in which the client’s goals are explored and understood. Heavy-duty design is not just about making something appealing. Heavy-duty design seeks to understand the how and the why of the client’s success so our deliverables fit and flow with business operations.

We operate as a single-source design partner for entrepreneurs and small businesses. We collaborate on larger projects through a network of trusted professionals nationwide.

More than 45 years of designing and producing a myriad of creative solutions set us apart from other designers. Heavy-duty design has fit, polish, and precision only professional experience provides.

Think of it this way. The purpose of design is engagement. Your content is the lyric. The designer creates the music. Together you have a song.

What is Graphic Design?

Graphic design is a crucial tool that makes sure that you communicate with your people in an effective manner. According to the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), graphic design is defined as “the art and practice of planning and projecting the ideas and experiences with the visual and textual content.”
A professional graphic designer presents information visually developed through a creative process for a particular function. In simpler words, graphic design is art with a purpose. Sometimes, graphic designers are referred to as graphic artists or communication designers.
