Pennie Works is the enterprise of Mark Pennie, former assistant director of Oklahoma State University’s marketing office. Pennie has won numerous awards from professional organizations, including the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and the Art Directors Club.

What is Graphic Design?

Graphic design is a crucial tool that ensures you effectively communicate with the people you need to inform, motivate, or act. The American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) defines graphic design as “the art and practice of planning and projecting the ideas and experiences with the visual and textual content.”
A professional graphic designer presents information visually developed through a creative process for a particular function. In simpler words, graphic design is art with a purpose. Sometimes, graphic designers are referred to as graphic artists or communication designers.
